Eugene Richard Lawrance (1920-1944)
Eugene Richard Lawrance, child of Richard John Lawrance and Agnes Ethel (nee Varallo) was born in 1920. Lived at 90 Green Road, in Poole. Fought in WW2 (dogtag# 5727101) as a Private in the Second Battalion Dorsetshire Regiment - Field Medic of the Army. Died on May 2 1944 at the age of 24 in India. Buried in Kohima in India. A memorial for Eugene Richard Lawrance can be found in India.
