Harry Legg (1894-1917)


Harry Legg, child of Harry and Lydia Jane Legg, sibling of T Legg was born in 1894.  Lived at 1 Cecil Road, Parkstone, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 1028) as a Driver in the 8th Div. Ammunition Col., Royal Field Artillery.  Died on Aug 2 1917 at the age of 23 in Belgium.  Buried at Birr Cross Roads Cemetry, II. E. 15. in Ieper, West-Vlaanderen in Belgium.  A memorial for Harry Legg can be found at St. Johns Heatherlands Church Parkstone,1914-1918 War Memorial in United Kingdom.
