Edmund Leake Burns Johnstone (Johnson on CWGC records), child of Mrs E E Johnson was born in 1894.  Lived at 'Ivy Nook', Shillito Road, Parkstone, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 29381) as a Corporal in the 8th Bn., East Surrey Regiment.  Died on Sep 18 1918 at the age of 24.  Buried at Unicorn Cemetry, I. D. 9. in Vend'huile.  A memorial for Edmund Leake Burns Johnstone (Johnson on CWGC records) can be found at St. Johns Heatherlands Church Parkstone,1914-1918 War Memorial in United Kingdom.
