Charles Eveley (1888-1915)


Charles Eveley, child of Mrs. Rebecca Eveley was born in 1888.  Married Lucy Spreadborough (formely Eveley) andLived at 2 Buckland Terrace, Buckland Road, Parkstone, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 7609) as a Private in the 1st Battalion of the Hampshire Regiment.  Died on Apr 27 1915 at the age of 27 in Belgium.  Buried at Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Panel 35 in Ieper, West-Vlaanderen in Belgium.  A memorial for Charles Eveley can be found at St Johns Heatherlands Church, Parkstone, 1914-1918 War Memorial in United Kingdom.
