Frederick Henry Beckwith (1894-1917)


Frederick Henry Beckwith, child of Margaret Maria and John Henry Beckwith was born in 1894.  Lived at Police Station, Ashley Road, Parkstone, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 2038) as a Private in the 35th Battalion of the Austalian Infantry A.  Died on Oct 12 1917 at the age of 23 in Belgium.  Buried at Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Panel 7 - 17 - 23 - 25 - 27 - 29 - 31 in Ieper, West-Vlaanderen in Belgium.  A memorial for Frederick Henry Beckwith can be found at St. Johns Heatherlands Church Parkstone, 1914-1918 War Memorial in United Kingdom.
