Alfred Thomas Baker (1894-1915)


Alfred Thomas Baker, child of William Edward Baker and Mary Baker was born in 1894.  Lived at 13 Francis Road, Parkstone, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 5204) as a Corporal in the 1st Battalion of the Rifle Brigade.  Died on Apr 26 1915 at the age of 21 in Belgium.  Buried at Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Panel 46 - 48 and 50. in Ieper, West -Vlannderen in Belgium.  A memorial for Alfred Thomas Baker can be found at St. Johns Heatherlands Church Parkstone, 1914-1918 War Memorial in United Kingdom.
