Stanley Griffin (1893-1917)


Stanley Griffin, child of Sharland and Annie Griffin was born in 1893.  Lived in Broadstone.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 436140) as a Private in the 46th Bn, Canadian Infantry (Saskatchewan regt.) of the Army.  Died on Mar 27 1917 at the age of 24 in France.  Buried at V11.F.20 Villers Station Cemetery in Villers - Au-Bios in France.  A memorial for Stanley Griffin can be found at Broadstone in United Kingdom.
