V.W.H. Gillingham, child of William Henry and Bessie Gillingham was born in 1891. Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 8964) as a Private in the 2nd Bn. Dorsetshire Regt. of the Army. Died on Dec 10 1918 at the age of 27. Buried at Broadstone Cemetery in Poole.
