Sidney Thomas Gibbs (1896-1916)


Sidney Thomas Gibbs, child of Henry John Gibbs and Annie Gibbs (nee Coles) was born in 1896.  Lived at 4 Lucas Road, Upper Parkstone, Poole, Dorset in the Parish of St John's Heatherlands Church, in Parkstone (born).   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 13072) as a Private in the Dorset Regiment Infantry, 2nd and 6th Bn. (Service no 13072) of the Army.  Died on Aug 21 1916 at the age of 20 in Flanders, France.  Buried at Sailly-Aux-Bois Military Cemetery.
