George Gibbs (1887-1918)


George Gibbs, child of Joseph and Annie Gibbs was born in 1887.  Lived at 24 Hill Street, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 27654) as a Private in the 9th Bn. Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry (attached to (139580) 380th H.S.L. Corps, Labour Corps) of the Army.  Died on Nov 2 1918 at the age of 31.  Buried at B.7.5. Longfleet (St. Mary) Churchyard in Poole in Dorset.
