Bertie Gibbs, child of John and Annie Gibbs was born in 1895. Lived at 1 Denmark Road, in Poole. Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 202435) as a Private in the 1st/4th Bn. Dorsetshire Regiment of the Army. Died on Oct 14 1917 at the age of 22 in Iraq. Buried at XII.D.2. Baghdad (North Gate) War Cemetery in Baghdad.
