A.E. Garland (1889-1917)

A.E. Garland, child of Frederick and Ellen Garland was born in 1889. Married K.E. James (formerly Garland) andLived at 215 Wimborne Road, in Poole. Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 17020) as a Private in the Somerset Light Infantry of the Army. Died on May 21 1917 at the age of 28. Buried at B.QQ.5 “C”. Poole (Branksome) Cemetery in Poole in Dorset. A memorial for A.E. Garland can be found at St Johns Heatherlands Church, Parkstone, 1914-1918 War Memorial in United Kingdom.
