William Merrifield (1891-1917)

William Merrifield, child of Harry and Elizabeth Merrifield was born in 1891. Lived at 3 Marline Road, Parkstone, in Poole. Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 10438) as a Private in the 6th Dorsetshire Regiment of the Army. Died on Jun 13 1917 at the age of 26 in Belgium. Buried at Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Panel 37 in Ieper, West-Vlaanderen in Belgium.
