George William Maidment


George William Maidment.  Lived at Branksome, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 17697) as a Private in the 6thBn., Dorsetshire Regiment of the Army.  Died on Dec 7 1916 in France.  Buried at St. Sever Cemetery extension, O. III. E. 12. in Rouen in France.  A memorial for George William Maidment can be found at St. Johns Heatherlands Church Parkstone,1914-1918 War Memorial in United Kingdom.
