Lewis Appleby Le Brun (1896-1918)


Lewis Appleby Le Brun, child of Lewis Le Brun. R.N. (reted) and Isabella Mary Le Brun was born in 1896.  Lived at “Enfield", Kingland Road, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 as a Second lieutenant in the 3rd Bn. Hampshire Regiment (attached to 11th Bn. Somerset Light Infantry) of the Army.  Died on Oct 31 1918 at the age of 22.  Buried at 11.J.18. Tournai Communal Cemetry, Allied Extn.
