William Charles Lake (1923-1944)


William Charles Lake, child of William C. and Grace Lake was born in 1923.  Lived in Hamworthy.   Fought in WW2 (dogtag# 5733266) as a Private in the 7th Bn. Somerset Light Infantry of the Army.  Died on Aug 1 1944 at the age of 21 in France.  Buried at XIX.B.14. Bayeux War Cemetery in Calvados.
