G. Broomfield DSM, child of George Broomfield was born in 1891. Lived at "Heathside", 67 Victoria Road, Parkstone, in Poole. Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 237502) as a Leading Seaman in the H.M.S. “Victory” (HMS Hyderbad) of the Royal Navy. Died on Apr 1 1918 at the age of 27. Buried at Branksome Cemetery, B. FF . 13 . in Poole, Dorset in United Kingdom. A memorial for G. Broomfield DSM can be found at St. Johns Heatherlands Church Parkstone, 1914-1918 War Memorial in United Kingdom.
