Edgar Clarence Elton, child of Edgar George and Sarah Ann Elton was born in 1918. Married Ellen Elizabeth Elton andLived in Hamworthy. Fought in WW2 (dogtag# 1453623) as a Bombardier in the 44 Lt. A.A. Regt. Royal Artillery. Died on May 5 1945 at the age of 27. Buried at Grave 28.C.1-9-Taukkyan War Cemetery in Myanmar.
