Christopher Gilbert Durant (1896-1916)

Christopher Gilbert Durant, child of Alfred Case Durant and Alberta Annie Durant was born in 1896. Lived at 12 Maple Road, in Poole. Fought in WW1 as a Second Lieutenant in the 13th Bn. attd. 4th Bn. Worcestershire Regiment. Died on Oct 18 1916 at the age of 20. A memorial for Christopher Gilbert Durant can be found at Thiepval Memorial in France.
