Herbert Stanley Dunford, child of Herbert George and Lilian May Dunford; was born in 1918. Married Gwendoline Dunford andLived in Poole. Fought in WW2 (dogtag# 5726663) as a Private in the 5th Bn. Dorsetshire Regiment. Died on Jul 10 1944 at the age of 26. Buried at St Manviel War Cemetery. Their name features in the St Peter’s Church Roll of Honour.
