J.R. Phillips, child of Fred and A E Phillips of Greylands was born in 1891. Married Mary Isabella Phillips andLived in Creekmoor. Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 83058) as a Gunner in the 156th Siege Bty. Royal Garrison. Died on Oct 15 1917 at the age of 26. Buried at B.6. Divisional Collecting Post Cemetery.
