Ernest Samuel White, child of Eaneas William and Eliza White was born in 1889. Married Ethel Annie White andLived at Montague Place, Upton, in Poole. Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 117171) as a Gunner in the 261st Siege Bty. Royal Garrison Artillery. Died on May 17 1917 at the age of 28. Buried at XVIII.O.8A. Etaples Military Cemetery - Pas de Calais.
