Donald Way (1911-1944)


Donald Way, child of Martha Way (nee James) & Joseph David Rixon Way, sibling of Charles Way and David Way was born in 1911.  Married Edith Way andLived at 11 Avenue Place, in Poole.   Fought in WW2 (dogtag# 6028631) as a Private in the 4th Bn. Suffolk Regiment.  Died on Sep 12 1944 at the age of 33 in Area in the Pacific on board a Japanese troop ship.  A memorial for Donald Way can be found at Column 56. Singapore Memorial in Singapore.
