W.C. Washer (1875-1917)


W.C. Washer, child of Harry and Mary Washer was born in 1875.  Married Ada Washer andLived at The Haven, in Hamworthy.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 31265) as a Private in the 9th Bn. Devonshire Regiment.  Died on Oct 26 1917 at the age of 42.  Buried at VIA.L.9. Hodge Crater Cemetery.  A memorial for W.C. Washer can be found at St Michaels Church Memorial 1914-1919.
