Robert Lambirth King (1889-1916)


Robert Lambirth King, child of Tim and Ellen King was born in 1889.  Lived at Branksome, in Poole.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 12461) as a Corporal in the 6th Bn. Dorsetshire Regiment.  Died on Aug 28 1916 at the age of 27.  Buried at V.B.17. Abbeville Communal Cemetery in Somme.
