Edward Bertie Hampton (1877-1915)
Edward Bertie Hampton, child of Thomas and Elizabeth Hampton was born in 1877. Married Adelaide Sarah Hampton andLived at 9 Garland Cottages, in Hunger Hill. Fought in the war (dogtag# 10096) as a Sergeant in the 5th Bn. Dorsetshire Regiment. Died on Aug 21 1915 at the age of 38. A memorial for Edward Bertie Hampton can be found at Panel 136 to 139. Helles Memorial in Turkey.
