Cecil Crane (1898-1916)


Cecil Crane, child of Mrs Mary Ann Sophia Crane was born in 1898.  Lived at 3 Little Croft Road, in Upper Parkstone.   Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 16103) as a Private in the 1st Bn. Dorsetshire Regiment.  Died on Jul 1 1916 at the age of 18 in France.  Buried at Serre Road Cemetery No. 2 - Somme.  Their name features in the St Clements Church Roll of Honour 1915..
