James Roland Ivor Young (1923-1942)


James Roland Ivor Young, child of James and Violet Ivy Young was born in 1923.  Lived at Hamworthy, in Poole.   Fought in WW2 (dogtag# P/JX 235855) as a Able Seaman in the H.M.S. Gossamer of the Royal Navy.  Died on Aug 25 1942 at the age of 19.  A memorial for James Roland Ivor Young can be found at Panel 65. Column 2. Portsmouth Naval Memorial in United Kingdom.
