S.G. Woodman (1896-1915)
S.G. Woodman, child of Henry Augustine and Elizabeth Jane Woodman was born in 1896. Lived at 28 St Johns Close, in Marlborough. Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 20928) as a Private in the 8th Battalion Wiltshire Regiment of the .. Died on Nov 29 1915 at the age of 19. Buried at Near north east corner.Branksome (St Clements) in Branksome in Dorset. A memorial for S.G. Woodman can be found at St. Michael’s Church Memorial 1914-1919.
