Percy John Whitty (1894-1918)

Percy John Whitty, child of Samuel and Alice Whitty (nee Stone) was born in 1894. Lived at “Alpha” Serpentine Road, in Poole. Fought in WW1 as a 2nd Steward in the H.M.H.S. “Llandovery Castle” (London) of the Mercantile Marine. Died on Jun 27 1918 at the age of 24.
