William Henry Purdy (1893-1914)

William Henry Purdy, child of Adopted son of Arthur and Kate Vine was born in 1893. Lived at Chelmsford Cottage, in Poole. Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 9548) as a Private in the 1st Bn. Dorsetshire Regiment. Died on Oct 22 1914 at the age of 21 in France. Buried at Panel 22 and 23 in Le Touret Memorial - Pas de Calais.
