James Ernest Jeffery (1923-1942)

James Ernest Jeffery, child of Charles and Elsie Jeffery was born in 1923. Fought in WW2 (dogtag# 576050) as a Sergeant Flight Engineer in the 149 Squadron. Bomber Command of the Royal Air Force. Died on Nov 28 1942 at the age of 19. Buried at Sec. 12. Grave 13164. Buried in Poole Cemetery. Their name features in the St Peter’s Church Roll of Honour 1939-1945.
