Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 242001) as a Corporal in the 2nd/5th Bn. Gloucestershire Regiment. Dorsetshire Regiment. Died on Apr 2 1917 at the age of 26. Buried at C.15. Nesle Communal Cemetery in Somme.
