William Barnes (1889-1917)

William Barnes, child of William and Jane Barnes was born in 1889. Married Maggie Barnes andLived at 1 Dennett’s Lane, High Street, in Poole. Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 110853) as a Gunner in the 241st Siege Bty. Royal Garrison Artillery. Died on Apr 21 1917 at the age of 28. Buried at IV.B.26. Faubourg D’Amiens Cemetery in Arras in Pas de Calais. A memorial for William Barnes can be found at Plymouth Memorial in United Kingdom.
