John Robert Allen was born in 1883. Lived in Waterloo. Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 9630) as a Lance Corporal in the 2nd Bn. Scots Guards. Died on Dec 18 1914 at the age of 31. A memorial for John Robert Allen can be found at Panel 1. Ploegsteert Memorial in Belgium.
