Edwin Allen, child of Mr and Mrs Edwin Allen of Oak Glen was born in 1892. Lived at Sandbanks Road, in Parkstone. Fought in WW1 (dogtag# 12308) in the 5th Bn. Dorsetshire Regiment. Died on Aug 21 1915 at the age of 23 in Cape Helles. A memorial for Edwin Allen can be found in United Kingdom.
