Happiness isn't something you experience; it's something you remember.

This site allows people from various groups in the community to add information that they have researched concerning Poole during wartime - from historical to modern times.
By inviting people to source and add information, different people will benefit from the site and it will be used as a learning tool for those who wish to utilize it.
The site will draw together material from numerous sources and we hope that, with your help, it will become an invaluable depository of information contributed by people within the community.
Suggested groups who we would like to get involved with the website are:
Relatives and friends of Poole people who lost their lives due to their country’s conflicts.
People who have lived through any Wars who would like to share their recollections, stories and memories
Service men and women who wish to add photographs, stories, data and information of interest
Schools who are working on projects who wish to source or share information
Adult education and learning classes
Volunteer groups
If you have any information, which you feel you wish to contribute to the site, or if you wish to join a community-based research group investigating these subjects, please contact:
